SOS Pakistan 2010
August 2, 2010 – People in Peril Association announced an emergency appeal SOS Pakistan 2010. As a result of the monsoon rain, heaviest in the last 80 years, at least 1,400 people lost their lives. In total 3 milion of local inhabitants were afftected by floods and landslides. PIPA has already sent 5,000 USD from its emergency humanitarian fund – Donors’ Club. The funds will be used to provide basic needs to afftected people in cooperation with the Czech partner People in Need. Read more
